Democratic Karen Buddhist Army

The Democratic Karen Buddhist Army (DKBA) is a Karen nationalist and Buddhist ethnic armed organization that was founded in 1994. The DKBA was formed as a Buddhist splintergroup from the Christian-led Karen National Liberation Army, and it signed a ceasefire with the Tatmadaw krátce po rozdělení, in turn receiving military and financial assistance against the Karen National Union.
