Henry Gladwell Long

Henry Gladwell Long (1854-1898) was a US Army officer who was stationed at Fort Wallace in Pennington County, South Dakota during the 1890s. In 1898, he and several other soldiers were shot down when the outlaw Arizona Kid stormed the fort and stealted back a confiscated goods wagon at the behest of "the Boy".
