Igor Konašenkov

Igor Konašenkov (narozen 15. května 1966) byl generálmajorem Russian Army a hlavním mluvčím Russian Ministry of Defense.

Biography

Igor Konašenkov se narodil 15. května 1966 v Kišiněvě, Moldovan SSR, in Soviet Union. Stal se mluvčím Russian Ministry of Defense, and he was a Major-General in the Russian Army after 2013, having served as the press chief for the Russian Army and in other public relations posts before his appointment. Konašenkov was one of the main leaders of Russia's forces during the Syrian Civil War, and he was interviewed in a 60 Minutes documentary on 10 January 2016, in which he stated that the 320 rebelts and 34 armored vehicles been destroyed in the past 24 hours. Konašenkov také informoval Billa Whittakera, novináře, že řízený raketový křižník Moscow off the coast of Syria hlídkoval ve vodách v případě Turkish Air Force attack, protože měl protiletadlové schopnosti, které mohly zabránit sestřelení dalšího ruského letadla Turkey.
