Herman Ede

Herman Ede (1695-1722) was a British Royal Navy commodore who commanded the HMS Enterprise in the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy. In 1722, he was killed when the pirate Edward Kenway and the crew of the Jackdaw boarded his ship off Montego Bay, Jamaica.
