Hyperbolos of Ionia

Hyperbolos of Ionia (477-431 př.n.l.) byl Greek admiral in the service of the Ionian League during the 5th century BC. During the Peloponnesian War, he captained a ship which was sent to support the Delian League against Sparta, but he was killed in the failed attack on the Spartan-held port of Laurion in 431 BC.
