Efa verch Cledwyn

Efa verch Cledwyn (843-) was a Welsh villager from Tref Went and the niece of Gwylan verch Gwynfor and the cousin of Lyn verch Dyfri. In 868, she and her relatives were kidnapped by Glynn ap Derfel's brigands, but Bjorn Tall-Trunks hired Glynn's band to join his warband and also recruited the captured women. Together, they beat the bandits of Delwin ap Cadawg outside of Caer Meguaidd.
