Beorhtric of England

Beorhtric of England (1014-1066) was the Anglo-Saxon claimant to the throne of England following Edgar the Aetheling's surrender to the Normans in late 1066. He was killed in a skirmish with the Normans near Lawton, and he was succeeded by Aelfwig.
