Cuthberht z Kentu

Cuthberht z Kentu (1039-1066) byl Anglo-Saxon Ealdorman of Kent from 1066, succeeding Peada. He raised a fyrd at Wigingamere (Newport, Essex) to fight back Welsh invaders who had penetrated as far as Hertford by the Hertford by time of his accession to the throne, and he battle the Welsh invaders as they pushed deeper into England and towards East Anglia. He was eventually killed in battle, and Harold of Kent succeeded him.
