Emmanuel Long

Emmanuel Long was an English Quakers settler who lived in New Bedford, Massachusetts Bay Colony during the mid-17th century. He and most of his fellow Quakers were staunch Parliamentarians and later Whigs due their opposition to Anglican absolutism and preference for democratic forms of government.
