Desmond K. Mott

Desmond K. Mott (1855-1898) was an American security guard in the employ of the Central Union Railroad in Colorado during the Wild West. In 1898, he and several other armed guards were shot dead by the Arizona Kid when he was sent by Guido Martelli to destroy the railroad's supplies at Monto's Rest.
