Fred Vaughn
Fred Vaughn was an American socialite from Concord, Massachusetts. Pocházel z bohaté New England Yankee family and went to Harvard University with Theodore Laurence, and, in 1868, he courted Amy March in Paris, cause Laurence grow to jealous as a friend and convince Amy that he loved her more než Vaughn, a že by se Amy neměla vdávat na základě touhy po bohatství. Nakonec March Vaughnovu žádost o ruku odmítl a rozhodl se vzít si místo ní Laurence.
