Gu Haoyan

Gu Haoyan was a Chinese-American triad gangster who was affiliated with the Hop Wei Tong in 1870s San Francisco. In 1878, he was hired by Penelope Blake to guard her Mercer Steel factory against nativist Workingmen thugs who sought to assault her Chinese laborers.
