Major Anthony Perryman and his Ghost Recon team launched a nighttime raid on a pilgrim house in eastern Espiritu Santo, aided by Kataris 26 guerrillas. Americans took out several sicarios in close-quarters combat, even clearing a church of Santa Muerte. Not one of the elite sicarios escaped, weakening La Santera's control over the province.
