Free Egyptians Party

The Free Egyptians Party is a liberal political party in Egypt which was founded on 3 April 2011 by businessman Naguib Sawiris and a core of intellectuals and political activists. The party came to have 100,000 members that year, and they opposed the Muslim Brotherhood's Islamist government, supporting secularism.
