Aethelric z Deiry (580-604) byl králem Deira od 588 do 604, úspěšný Aella z Deiry a předcházející Aethelfrith.

Biography

Aethelric se narodil v York, Yorkshire, England v roce 580, syn krále Aella z Deiry. He succeeded his father as King of Deira at age of 8, and he fathered the future Edwin of Northumbria. In 604, he was killed in battle with King Aethelfrith of Bernicia, who proceeded to rule over a united Deira and Bernicia.
