Billy S. Spires

Billy S. Spires (1855-1898) was an American security guard who worked for Cornwall Kerosene & Tar in Logan County, Oklahoma during the 1890s. In 1898, he and several other refinery guards were killed by the Arizona Kid and Little Pete during their raid on the refinery's supply carts, with Pete hogting the escaping Spires with his lasso and stabbing him death.
