Darius z Pontusu

Darius z Pontusu (zemřel 37 př.n.l.) byl králem Pontus od 39 do 37 př.n.l., následovník Pharnaces II a předcházející Arsaces.

Životopis

Darius byl prvním synem krále Pharnaces II of Pontus and his Sarmatian wife, and he was of Greek Macedonian and Iranian předky. V roce 39 př. n. l. byl ustanoven klientským králem Mark Antony výměnou za placení tributu Antoniovi, ale eh měl krátkou vládu, zemřel v roce 37 př. n. l. Po něm nastoupil na trůn jeho bratr Arsaces of Pontus.
