Estmund the Paget

Estmund the Paget (853-874) was a Mercian soldier who served under Lady Eadwyn during the Oxfordshire Rebellion. In 874, he was one of three patrolling Mercian troops to be ambushed and killed by the Norwegian Viking warrior Eivor on the road outside of Perie, Oxfordshire.
