Velké mešity Qaryat al-Rashid byly postaveny v roce 1192 ve městě Qaryat al-Rashid by the "Ayyubid Caliphate, and they were devoted to Sultan Saladin. The mosques were wonders, and although idolatry was forbidden in Islam, they were still shining symbols of Islamic power.
