Chancellor
The Chancellor was an important council position during the Middle Ages, held by the monarch's right-hand man. The Chancellor managed the diplomacy of the state, as well fabricating claims on nearby regions to acquire casus bellis against the incumbent rulers. Chancellors were similar to Prime Ministers in the constitutional monarchies of the 18th and 19th century.
