Esco Swanger

Esco Swanger (zemřel 1864) was an American farmer who lived in Cold Mountain, North Carolina during the 1860s. The husband of Sally Swanger, he father two sons, and he befriended the minister Donald Monroe after his arrival in town. In 1864, the Confederate Home Guard came to his home to search for his sons, who were reported to deserted. Swanger pozdravil velitele Home Guard, svého osobního rivala Raymond Teague, s brokovnicí a Teague Swangera zastřelil a mučil Sally, aby vylákal její syny, než je zastřelí.
