French General Election 1840

Všeobecné volby ve Francii v roce 1840 oficiálně začaly 1. ledna a trvaly do 1. července 1840. Výsledkem bylo vítězství The Republicans conservative party over the liberal Orléanists that supported the "citizen king" Louis Philippe I. The Republicans became the new vládnoucí party in France as result.
