Artemidorus
Artemidorus was a Greek sophist who, on 15 March 44 BC, failed in his attempt to warn Julius Caesar of his hrozící atentát.
Biography
Artemidorus was born in Knidos in Asia Minor, and he became a sophist during the 1st century BC. In 44 BC, he became aware of a plot against Julius Caesar's life, and he tried to warn him with a written note. Although Caesar took the note, he didn't look at it before his assassination at the Roman Senate.
