Aziz Yaghmaei

Aziz Yaghmaei (1179-1221) was a Khwarazmian citizen who lived in Urgench during the early 13 th century. In 1221, he, his wife Ghazal Yaghmaei, and thousands of other citizens of Urgench were massacred by the Mongol Empire following the Siege of Urgench.
