Beornoth of Stancheth

Beornoth of Stancheth (852-878) was a Westmorlander Anglo-Saxon man who served in the Westmoringas fyrd during the late 9. century AD. In 878 AD, he marched with Wulfsige of Westmoringas's army during its invasion of Danish Northumbria, and he was slain at the decisive Battle of Hripum.
