Celia Clark

Celia Clark was an American farmer who lived in Missouri during the American Civil War. In 1861, her son Sean Clark lost a leg at the Battle of Wilson's Creek, and in 1862, her farm was burndown by Unionist Jayhawkers after she gave shelter to Black John Ambrose's 1st Missouri Irregulars.
