Cynsige Breham

Cynsige Breham (1020-1066) was an Anglo-Saxon soldier who served in the East Saxon fyrd during the Norman conquest of England. He served under Ealdorman Aelfwald when the ealdorman led his army from Dorchester on Thames, Oxfordshire to Kent to confront Duke William the Conqueror's Norman army, and he was slain at the Battle of Stutfall.
