Edward Boscawen

Edward Boscawen (19. srpna 1711-10. ledna 1761) was a British Royal Navy Admiral of the Blue and the Tory MP for Truro from 1741 to 1761.

Biography

Edward Boscawen was born in Tregothnan, Cornwall, England in 1711, the third son of Hugh Boscawen, 1st Viscount Falmouth. Ve věku 12 let vstoupil do Royal Navy a sloužil pod admirálem Francis Hosier in the Caribbean předtím, než sloužil pod Edward Vernon během War of Jenkins' Ear.
