Hamed Haghshenas

Hamed Haghshenas (1195-1221) was a Khwarazmian citizen who lived in Urgench during the early 13 th century. In 1221, he and thousands of other citizens of Urgench were massacred by the Mongol Empire following the Siege of Urgench.
