Dalmatae

The Dalmatae were an Illyrian tribe which inhabited Dalmácie. They warred with the Římská republika from 160 years, caused by the nomadic Dalmatae's aggressiveness against their neighbors. In 155 BC, the Dalmatae capital of Delminium was destroyed by the Romans, and they were finally subdued in 33 BC; the failure of the Great Illyrian Revolt of 9 AD led to the final pacification of the Dalmatae.
