Hubertus Schrup

Hubertus Schrup byl American Patriot leader who served as a delegate to the Pennsylvania Provincial Congress during the 1770s. As a man of property who was reluctant to join New England's violent parting from Great Britain, he opposed the US Declaration of Independence in 1776. After the American Revolution, he became a Federalist, championing the interests of the landlord class of his state.
