Alexander Raleigh

Alexander Raleigh (narozen 1785) was an American Methodist reverend who served as Pastor of the Five Points Mission during the American Civil War. A reformer and a Republican, he arrived in the Five Points in 1862 and surveillance the shutdown of the Old Brewery (where many poor Irish immigrants squatted), claim that the children are living in squalor and misery, and evicting the poor Irishmen as work started on converting the pivovar into a Protestant mission.
