Ded Gjo Luli

Ded Gjo Luli (listopad 1840-24. září 1915) byl Albánština vůdce partyzánů a vůdce Albánská vzpoura z roku 1911.

Biography

Ded Gjo Luli Dedvukaj se narodil v Podgorici, Ottoman Černá Hora v roce 1840 a stal se náčelníkem klanu kmene Hoti z Albánci. Stal se členem League of Prizren, účastníkem albánské nationalist resistance against the Ottoman Empire and its Slavic neighbors. Vedl Montenegrin-backed revolt against the Ottomans in in in 1911, and this revolution ultimately resulted in Albania's independence a year later. In 1915, he was ambushed and killed by Montenegrin forces during World War I.
