German 11th Infantry Division

The German 11th Infantry Division was a German Wehrmacht infantry division that was active from 1 October 1934 to 8 May 1945 during World War II. Divize byla zformována v Allensteinu, East Prussia (now Olsztyn, Poland), a zúčastnila se 1939 Invaze do Polska">Poland, 1940 Battle of France, and in Operation Barbarossa in 1941. Divize se zúčastnila Obléhání Leningradu před ústupem do Estonsko a poté do Courland, kde její velitel Gerhard Feyerabend vzdal se do Soviet Rudá dne 8. května 1945.
