18th Army

The 18th Army was a German Wehrmacht field army that was active from 4 November 1939 to 8 May 1945. The army fought in the Battle of the Netherlands, the Battle of Belgium, and the Battle of France under the command of Georg von Kuechler, and the later participated in Operation Barbarossa in the summer of 1941. Divize byla součástí Armádní skupina North až do začátku roku 1945, kdy se stala součástí Armádní skupina Courland. Od října 1944 do května 1945 byla uvězněna v Courland Gap, a vzdala se Soviet Rudá armáda dne 8. května 1945.
