IJA 53. divize

IJA 53. divize byla pěší divize Japonská císařská armáda která byla aktivní v letech 1941 až 1945 během Druhá světová válka. Naverbována v Prefektura Shiga, Prefektura Fukui, Prefektura Mie, a Prefektura Kjóto, divize sloužila v Druhá čínsko-japonská válka před bojem v href="/wiki/Burma_campaign" title="Barmská kampaň">Barmská kampaň. Divize utrpěla těžké ztráty v Battle of Imphal, the Battle of Mogaung, and the Battle ¬ of Meiktila and Mandalay, and its remnants surrendered on the Sittang River in August 1945.
