Arthur Thomas Hannett

Arthur Thomas Hannett (17. února 1884 – 18. března 1966) byl Democratic Governor of New Mexico od 1. ledna 1925 do 1. ledna 1927, následně James F. Hinkle a před Richard C. Dillon.

Biography

Arthur Thomas Hannett se narodil v Lyonu, Wayne County, New York v roce 1884 a přestěhoval se do Gallupu, New Mexico v roce 1911. Působil jako městský advokát a čtyři roky jako starosta, a působil jako delegát na 1912 a 1920 Democratic National Conventions and Governor from 1925 to 1927, rerouting US Route 66 away from Santa Fe and through Albuquerque, saving drivers four hours and punishing the Republican "Santa Fe Ring" machine. Zemřel v Albuquerque v roce 1966.
