Colm Murphy

Colm Murphy (18. srpna 1952 – 18. dubna 2023) byl členem třídy INLA a Real IRA člen, který byl odsouzen za účast na Omagh bombing.

Biography

Colm Murphy se narodil v Belleeks, County Armagh, Northern Ireland v roce 1952 a začal působit v Irish republicanism během jeho dospívání, což vedlo k několika vězeňským kouzlům během 70. let. He was initially a member of the Provisional IRA, and he was arrestin America in 1983 for attempt to procure to procure arms for the INLA. He became a property investor in the late 1980 0s, buying a pub in Dundalk and hosting republican meetings. In 1999, he was arrested for his Real IRA involvement and his role in Omagh bombing, but he was acquitted in 2010 and died of lung disease in 2023.
