Felicity Hughey
Felicity Hughey was an NAACP representative in Mississippi during the 1980. In 1984, she was brought to Canton by Reverend Isaiah Street with goal to persuading Reverend Ollie Agee to fund the hiring of a black lawyer to represent Carl Lee Hailey during his murder trial, as the NAACP felt that the white lawyer Jake Brigance didn't understand the civil rights movement.
