Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party
The Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party (MSZMP) was a Marxist party in Hungary which existed from 31 October 1956 to 7 October 1989. Janos Kadar founded the MSZMP as a splintergroup of the Hungarian Working People's Party, ¬ and Kadar establishe a lenient Communist society which was notably more gentle than Matyas Rakosi's dictatorship.
