Errol Hewitt

Errol Hewitt was an American livestock farmer who lived in Loving, Eddy County, New Mexico during the early 20th century. In 1911, his family's cattle was robbed by the Bollard Twins gang and taken across state lines to Pike's Basin in Reeves County, Texas, where Hewitt headed with his gun to confront the rustlers and recover his cattle. He was joined by John Marston, who helped to fight off and kill the outlaws as Hewitt recovered his cattle and shepherded them back to his ranch.
