Biography

Barzapharnes commanded a Parthian invasion of the Levant in 40 BC, aided by Prince Pacorus I and the RomanSyria od Roman Republic and also captured Jerusalem, overthrowing Hyrcanus II and placing the Parthian loupet Antigonus II Mattathias on throne.
