Ealhheard Hammer

Ealhheard Hammer (849-881) was an Anglo-Saxon sel who served in the fyrd of Westmoringas during the Viking invasions of England. In 881, he served under Cyneweard at the Battle of Selesat in Yorkshire, during he was slain battle with the Northumbrian Danes.
